Thomas Edward (Tom) was born in Jun 1893. He married Ruth Maddox (born May 4, 1897) and worked on a farm for the first several years. They had two daughters, Marjorie and Ariel. When the girls got older, they movedinto town, where Tom worked at a filling station. The oldest firl, Marg was friends with a young lady who had a younger brother - Don Ivarson. The two older girls didn't want their younger siblings tagging along, so Ariel and Don did a lot of hanging out together - and 50 years later they still are!
Tom and Ruth retired to Arizona, but just two days after moving - on September 25, 1965 - Tom died. Ruth stayed with her daughter Marge for many years, then when Marge to sick, Ruth moved back to Nebraska. She died in 1990. Tom & Ruth, as well as their daughter Marge, are buried in Arizona. reil and Don ar alive and well, living in Torrington, Wyoming with children and grandchildren scattered about the country. (In 1996 - the time of the original writing - one son was in the Navy in Antartica!)
